Boom Trap is a new segment based entirely in news from the New Wave of rap. This week's topics in the segment: Quavo & Travis Scott project, Lil Uzi Vert & Playboi Carti possible collab project, Ugly God wants to be taken serious & Kodak Black remixes Cardi B's Bodak Yellow.
Respect Your Elders is another new segment based entirely in Hip Hop news geared towards the "old heads" of Hip Hop. This week's topics: Nas and Nicki Minaj are an item, Martin Shkreli tries to sell the million dollar Wu-Tang album & Andre 3000 will star in an upcoming sci-fi movie.
For The Culture is the third new segment which deals with events happening within the culture they may or may not be Hip Hop related. This week's topics: Cardi B closing in on #1, Donald Glover formerly known as Childish Gambino wins an important Emmy, Kevin Hart catches a whole L for the culture and the culture catches and entire L for letting Danielle Bregoli aka Bhad Bhabie make it.
Our last segment is Artistic Ignorance. The segment dedicated to the people who keep it fresh like the new wave, carry the spirit of the old heads and embody the culture. This week topics: Chance The Rapper and Donald Glover joint project, Kendrick Lamar rapping for an hour straight for Top & Rapsody gets ready to drop album.
